We went to the zoo!!! The bus picked us up just outside the hotel and dropped us at the zoo gates, all for $1.50. Entry to the zoo was only $9.00. Excellent value. I didn’t know there were so many different animals. I could have stayed all day but after a few hours Maria started to complain about her feet. Zoos do involve a lot of walking but it was well worth it. Not just because of the bears (although of course they were the best bit).

You can even see me in this next picture. I was wathching the Moon Bear cubs. They sure do have a lot of energy.
John has now finished the main part of his conference, although he still has some meetings tomorrow morning. This means he can spend this evening with us for a change. So at the moment I have no idea what we’re doing about tonights meal.
ps. Maria bought a teddy bear at the zoo. Am I not enough?!?!
The Leopard is lovely, especially his tail. I think he might take issue with me picking it up for a stroke though!
