Cold and windy

Today has felt like the coldest day since we arrived, probably because of the wind. Maria and I went for a brief walk around Battery Park area and the wind was really cutting so we took refuge in Borders, Maria bought a Teddy Bear and Friends magazine, she thought she might send them a brief contribution. We then went to their CD section and listened to a whole lot of samples of various CD and of course bought some, I particularly enjoyed Hayseed Dixie and several of the Gospel music CDs.
We then braved the wind again and made our way back, Maria wanted to work on a bear and start the cooking for tonight. We are going to have to buy a new tin opener the current one just doesn’t work, I learned some new words today when Maria tried to use it.
The weather certainly looks better from the inside. It’s been nice for me to laze around for the day, and I think we’ll have a couple of new bears to show tomorrow.
